Cinfães Bathing Areas

Cinfães does not have a single river beach but several bathing areas recognised by the municipality, spread between the Douro and the streams inland. The main ones are the Cais de Escamarão, on the Douro itself; the Km 10 River Park at Travanca; and the Sampaio stream area. There is also the Praia Fluvial da Granja at Espadanedo. The variety is the point: the Douro banks give wide views, while the inland streams offer colder water and woodland shade.
