Boa Vista Viewpoint

Boa Vista Viewpoint lies in Mesão Frio, at the entrance to the wine Douro, and is among the most accessible vantage points in the whole Baixo Corgo sub-region. Mesão Frio marks the western boundary of the demarcated region: from here eastwards the terraces begin, and the landscape changes character within a few kilometres. It is a natural stop for anyone driving up from Porto on the national road and wanting a first wide view over the valley.
