Jardim do Morro

Jardim do Morro sits in Vila Nova de Gaia, right at the end of the upper deck of the Luís I Bridge, and is one of the most sought-after viewpoints over the Douro. From here you see the river, the Eiffel-school bridge and the whole historic front of Porto on the far bank — the classic framing of the city, and it fills up for sunset. You reach it on foot across the bridge or by metro, a few steps from the Port wine lodges of Gaia.
